Ingredients

    1 cup pink pitaya (dragon fruit), peeled and cubed 1 cup fresh spinach leaves 1 kiwi, peeled and sliced 1 cup unsweetened apple juice 1 tbsp chia seeds 1/2 tsp spirulina powder (optional) 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. 1. Add pink pitaya, spinach, kiwi, apple juice, chia seeds, and spirulina (if using) to the blender.

    Add ice cubes.
    Blend on high speed for 2-3 minutes until smooth and well combined.
    Let sit for 2 minutes to allow chia seeds to expand slightly.
    Stir gently and pour into glasses.
    Serve immediately.

For a sweeter taste, add a ripe banana or a tablespoon of honey. Use coconut water instead of apple juice for a lower sugar content. Add a scoop of your favorite plant-based protein powder to make this a more substantial meal replacement.
