The surface of the coconut wood is melted and vaporized by the heat generated by the laser beam by a process known as “material removal”. The recess formed on the surface of the coconut wood becomes the engraving.
Each of our handmade coconut bowl utensils is cut, sanded and cleaned before a virgin coconut oil polish is applied.
That means each and every chopstick, spoon or fork is unique with its own color and pattern.
Just like you and me!
When Submitting your own Artwork keep in mind Laser Engraving requires Single Color artwork.
The Artwork must not be a Photo or contain multiple touching or blended colors.

SUBMITTING COPY FOR ENGRAVING

Files for engraving that contain just text can be part of an email or attachment in PDF, Word, Excel. To reduce the chances of error and maintain efficiency we will not accept Fax or any handwritten submissions. Ideally, the text should be typed and proofread before submitting it to us. We will try to spot any errors, but we cannot be responsible for errors for any copy that you submit to us for engraving.
Be sure to have someone proof your text: especially people’s names and dates.

REPRODUCTION RIGHTS:

Customer warrants and represents to BUDDHA BOWLS which operates under the names: BUDDHA BOWLS, that he/she is lawfully entitled to reproduce and copy the pictures, logos or artwork ordered and has full authority to authorize us to reproduce and copy such pictures and artwork. The customer will indemnify and save harmless BUDDHA BOWLS against any claims, actions, and damages, and for any expenses connected therewith, arising out of reproductions and copying of such pictures or artwork or any parts thereof. Artwork, separations, dies, plates, film, and molds made by BUDDHA BOWLS shall at all times remain the sole and exclusive property of BUDDHA BOWLS for the exclusive use of the customer.
